1. When rubber products are molded, they are subjected to high pressure, and the cohesive force inherent in the elastomer cannot be eliminated. When demolding, there is often extremely unstable shrinkage (the shrinkage rate of rubber varies depending on the type of rubber), which requires a period of time to stabilize. Therefore, when designing a rubber product, whether in terms of formulation or mold, careful calculations and considerations are necessary. Otherwise, it is easy to produce products with unstable dimensions, resulting in poor product quality. 2. Rubber is a thermosetting elastomer, while plastics are thermoplastic. Due to the different types of vulcanizates, the temperature range for molding and curing also varies.

2. Rubber is a thermoplastic elastomer, while plastics are thermosetting. Due to the different types of vulcanization agents, the temperature range for molding and curing rubber varies significantly, and it can even be affected by changes in climate and indoor temperature and humidity. Therefore, the production conditions for rubber products need to be adjusted appropriately at all times; otherwise, there may be differences in product quality.
3. The closed-cell structure of rubber and plastic can effectively prevent heat conduction.
4. The thermal conductivity coefficient does not exceed 0.034 W/m·k at 0°C.
5. The surface heat release coefficient is high, reaching 9 W/mk.
6. It has excellent water vapor permeability resistance with a moisture resistance μ ≥ 5,000, forming a "built-in" waterproof layer, making the insulation board both an insulation layer and a moisture-proof layer.
